Default A way to say how long you'll be away

So I was looking at my guild roster last night, and, seeing a couple of Aways, I thought it would really be nice if I knew why or how long they'd be away. I mean, it'd be nice if you could say, oh, Sin Sama's just out for lunch, so she should be back soon, and I'm sure she would love to do Urgoz with us, so let's wait a moment. Of course Sin would have been able to tell us beforehand, but still, if I forgot or logged on after she went away, I would have no idea.

So here's my suggestion: Place a small text field after the player status drop down box. Not too big, of course, maybe just enough to type Lunch or 6 pm EST, as a return time. And of course, it would show up on the guild roster and friend list (For example, instead of Away, it would read Away; Lunch), and perhaps even when you whisper the person (For example, Player Sin Sama might not reply because his or her status is set to away; Lunch).

In fact, it might even work for the other statuses; for example, for Offline, you might see Offline; OOT (Out Of Town), Offline; Hospital, or Offline; 7/4/07. Or maybe for Do Not Disturb, you might see Do Not Disturb; PMSing.

So, how about it? Sounds like a good idea, no?

Yes. I like the idea of being able to leave "away messages" or something like that in the game.
